This listing covers model years 1964 Full Sizes stock with the 421HO, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, and 1970 Star Chief, Bonneville, Executive, Catalina, Ventura,  2+2 and Grand Prix’s with the stock V8 and a dual exhaust.

Photos depicts the system for MY’s 1969 and 1970 Bonneville & Executive’s with the stock 400ci or 428ci (excludes the 428HO). 

  • For MY 1965 station wagon’s with the 421 HO this system consists of LS/RS exhaust pipes, LS/RS mufflers, LS/RS front tailpipe with resonators, & LS/RS rear tailpipes. For all other body styles the system consists of LS front & rear exhaust pipes, RS exhaust pipe, LS/RS mufflers, LS/RS connector pipes, & LS/RS resonators with tailpipe.
  • For MY 1965 station wagon’s except the 421 HO this system consists of LS front & rear exhaust pipes, RS exhaust pipe, LS/RS mufflers, LS/RS front connector pipes w/resonator, & LS/RS rear tailpipes. For all other body styles the system consists of LS front & rear exhaust pipe, RS exhaust pipe, LS/RS mufflers, LS/RS connector pipes, and LS/RS resonators with tailpipe.
  • For MY’s 1966-70 station wagon’s the system consist of LS/RS exhaust pipes, LS/RS mufflers, and LS/RS tailpipes with resonators built in.
  • For all other body styles the system consists of LS/RS exhaust pipes, LS/RS mufflers, LS/RS over-axle pipes, and LS/RS resonators with tailpipe.
  • The 421 HO originally took cast iron flanges. We supply you with universal flanges but if you have the cast iron flanges, you will be able swap them out.
  • All mufflers are built to the OEM specs. Our Mild Impostor's and Impostors allow you to keep your vehicle stock while changing your exhaust notes. Our Mild Impostor is a middle of the road turbo muffler, designed to give your exhaust a deeper, throatier tone. Our Impostor is a high performance, aggressive turbo muffler.
  • This system does not require gaskets. It is a metal-to-metal connection at the manifold(s).

  • The following statement pertains to pipes only (mufflers have a 1 year warranty regardless of material chosen) and to vehicles that are not daily drivers and are stored in an enclosed building: Aluminized Steel has a life expectancy of 20-25 years and is considered to be truer to the original material on vintage vehicles. T409 Stainless Steel is ferric and magnets will stick to it. T409 stainless steel is the same type of stainless used by car manufactures today and will never rust through, although it may develop pock-marks of rust which can simply be buffed out.
  • When building our exhaust systems; where (or if) it requires a pipe diameter of 2” or larger, it will be 14-gauge tubing, where (or if) it requires a pipe diameter smaller than 2”, it will be 16-gauge tubing.
