  • This listing covers MY's 1956 with either the 292ci or the 312vi V8 and 1957 Ford Thunderbirds with the 312ci V8. The 292ci did not come stock with resonators. Refer to listing 518899 for a '57 T-bird with a 292ci or if you want to delete the resonator. Photos depicts the exhaust pipes and mufflers for 1956 and 1957 Thunderbirds, the front and rear tailpipes vary depending on engine and transmission.
    • This dual exhaust consists of LS/RS exhaust pipes, LS/RS mufflers, LS/RS front tailpipes with resonators, and LS/RS tailpipes.
  • Waldron's Exhaust reproduces this set of 4 OE styled muffler and tail pipe hangers (very close to OE in looks, hangs like OE) for 1956 and 1957 Pontiac full size vehicles stock with a dual exhaust system. This hanger set is incomplete as it does not include the hanger used on the driver side  rear exhaust pipe. Hangers generally ship out within 1 wk.

  • Photo is correct to the listing. If you aren't concerned about staying true to the stock system and would like to eliminate the cross-over pipe & Y pipes or if you have late model motor mounts; refer to 588605.
    • This listing is for the original stock design with the early model motor mount and consists of LS/RS crossover pipes, LS/RS Y pipes, LS/RS mufflers and LS/RS tailpipes.
    • It has been brought to our attention that vehicles using the late model motor mounts will have fitment issues with the cross-over pipes and we suggest that you order the alternative design or be prepared to make modifications.
