Our patterns do not accommodate vehicles with power brakes. If your 1949-55 Olds has power brakes, this system will not fit. Photo depicts the dual conversion system (with mufflers) for 1953-55 Olds with the stock V8. Photo shows a system that the tail pipes have been cut to reduce the shipping cost (and can also make installation easier).- The dual conversion exhaust kit consists of LS front & rear exhaust pipes, RS exhaust pipe, LS/RS glasspacks, LS/RS tailpipes, gaskets and clamps. - Pipe diameter of the stock 428ci is 2"OD through out. The 427ci H pipe starts out at 2½" OD but quickly reduces to 2" and remains 2" through out.
- The body diameter of all 4 glasspacks will be 3½" OD if order an aluminized steel system and 3" OD if ordering a T409 stainless steel system.
