- 1965-68 models will be asked to report the serial number. We will need to know if it falls before or after SN 166800. The difference being that early models require flat gaskets at the manifold while the later models are a metal-to-metal connection at the manifold.
- 1969-71 models will be asked to report whether the truck is stock with or without a cowl.

Our patterns do not accommodate vehicles with power brakes. If your 1949-55 Olds has power brakes, this system will not fit. Photo depicts the dual conversion system (with mufflers) for 1953-55 Olds with the stock V8. Photo shows a system that the tail pipes have been cut to reduce the shipping cost (and can also make installation easier).- The dual conversion exhaust kit consists of LS front & rear exhaust pipes, RS exhaust pipe, LS/RS glasspacks, LS/RS tailpipes, gaskets and clamps. Tailpipes include welded hanger attachment brackets and angle-cut turn-downs as shown.
- Pipe diameter of the stock 428ci is 2"OD through out. The 427ci H pipe starts out at 2½" OD but quickly reduces to 2" and remains 2" through out.
- The body diameter of all 4 glasspacks will be 3½" OD if order an aluminized steel system and 3" OD if ordering a T409 stainless steel system.
