Photo depicts the single exhaust for a 1972 Mercury full size with the stock 429ci or 460ci V8- Single exhaust consists of the Y pipe, muffler and tail pipe. Some systems (depending on engine and/or body style) will have a front and rear tail pipe. MY 1967 with a 410ci or 428ci & MY 1973 with a 429ci or 460ci were stock with a resonator. For MY's 1921-27 Master's, except non-touring and/or open car's, there is a press-fit cast iron section front of the muffler that must be in place for the this stock system to fit properly. If you have the original cast iron flange, we recommend reusing it. Waldron's Exhaust developed this unique dual exhaust system using a factory OEM exhaust system. Photo depicted is correct to the listing.- This system consists of LS/RS exhaust pipes with stainless steel flex wrap, LS/RS resonator pipes, LS/RS over-axle pipes with balance tube, LS/RS mufflers and LS/RS tailpipes.
- This system starts out at 2"OD on the exhaust pipes which reduce to 1¾"OD at the resonator inlets and then remains at 1¾"OD throughout the remaining of the system.
